“Tell Me a Story”
This unit looks at how Jesus used parables as an educational tool to enlighten his followers.
Session One explores a parable about seeds. The passage reveals a correlation between the soil (person) and the growth of the seed (faith). Likewise, youth must concern themselves with the often unpopular issue of the relation between the development of the faith (seed) and the condition of the believer (soil).
Session Two examines how we live as neighbors when we struggle with caring for those immediately around us. How do we truly love those we call our neighbors, not purely out of an obligation, but from being moved deep down inside our hearts?
Session Three focuses on the items in which God has entrusted to us and on the way in which we cared for it thus far.
