A Heart for Missions

What Is A Heart for Missions?

The purpose of A Heart for Missions is to help children learn from biblical examples of missions, help them identify the needs of their own community, and involve them in a hands-on experience of missions.

A Heart for Missions Vacation Bible School is a Christian education resource that uses a medical motif to help children learn about missions and the importance of helping others. It is a hands-on approach to missions. Children don’t just learn about missions, but actually engage in missions.

Teach your children that they can be a part of missions today. For example, children create craft items designed to be useful to people in nursing homes, hospitals, and other places of care. Children gain confidence in their ability to help others in Christ’s name by giving away these craft items.

The church is transformed into a learning hospital, in which children assume the role of medical interns and are divided into groups representing different hospitals.

You can expect the same ease of enlistment, flexible programs options, quality creative teaching approaches, and high investment from learners, as you find in other NextSunday Vacation Bible Schools.
