Talk about a time when you didn’t know where you were going and you had to follow someone or something like your GPS. Did the person (or thing) you were following get you there okay? Did you get lost? What was it like trusting someone or something else to know where you were going?

Christmas Time

When I was a child, I was very confused by the tense of the verb “to be” used in the Christmas hymn “O Come All Ye Faithful.” We’d sing, “With angelic hosts proclaim, Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

Satellite or Star

My eyes drew open a little after 4:30 this morning. The alarm wasn’t supposed to go off for another hour and a half, but I was awake. Though I knew I could go back to sleep, I also knew that I probably would wake up feeling more groggy than I did at that moment.
