Grateful for Mistakes

“Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.” (author unknown)

In our society, with its great emphasis on accomplishment and success, it is particularly difficult to grasp the concept of being grateful for our troubles. I once made a sizable and costly mistake in business. I went to my boss and offered to resign. He said, “Absolutely not. We just spent a lot of money on your training.” I realized then that my mistake had become a blessing and that I would never make that mistake, or one like it, again.

Can you find the blessings in the midst of your troubles?
