Who is NextSunday Resources? How are you connected to Smyth & Helwys?
Smyth & Helwys Publishing, established in 1991, is named for two inspiring pioneers of religious liberty, John Smyth and Thomas Helwys. The fact that our company bears their names speaks volumes about the values we hold dear. John Smyth (1554-1612) led his band of English Separatists to Amsterdam to escape religious persecution. Thomas Helwys (1550-1616) died in an English prison, a martyr for religious freedom. Their writings and lives brought freedom to a time when Christians were less free to express their faith. John Smyth & Thomas Helwys — our name celebrates their faith and devotion to these cherished Christian values.
NextSunday Resources, an imprint of Smyth & Helwys Publishing, was developed in 2014 to focus specifically on church resources (Sunday school curriculum, small group Bible study, youth and children resources, daily devotion, and much more).
Smyth & Helwys Books, also an imprint of Smyth & Helwys Publishing, continues to provide a host of books on a variety of interesting topics, including the renowned Smyth & Helwys Bible Commentary. Smyth & Helwys Books is located at www.helwys.com.
What Sunday school curriculum do you have for adults?
Plan your small group Bible study or personal spiritual enrichment with a wide-range of resource options, like Formations and Connections.

Connections is an ecumenical, lectionary-based Sunday school curriculum. Perfect for churches of any tradition who want to make connections between their Bible study and their time of worship.
What Sunday school lessons do you have for youth and children?
Intersection for youth and FaithSteps for children provide a wealth of options for each Sunday.
What other resources do you offer for personal or group Bible study?
Also available are a host of build-your-own study options:
• Plan a month at a time—with topics that you choose—through NextSunday Studies. Or take your youth through one of our QuickPaks for fun, multimedia studies.

• Take your class through a longer book study through Smyth & Helwys Books on topics covering church history, theology, ethics, missional living, discipleship, spiritual gifts, and much more.
Do you offer a daily devotional guide?
Make spiritual reflection a part of each day with Reflections. Based on the Narrative Lectionary, this daily guide will help you navigate your walk with God with timely devotions in a handy format. Reflections can also become a vital part of your extended church ministries. Visitors and new members. College students. Nursing homes. Military. Prisons. Long- and short-term missions.
Are either NextSunday Resources or Smyth & Helwys Books owned by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship?
Smyth & Helwys is an ecumenical publishing company born from the Baptist tradition. While we serve as a proud partner to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, its other partner organizations and universities, and all of the churches who support its various ministries, neither Smyth & Helwys Publishing nor its imprints are owned or operated by the CBF. Smyth & Helwys Publishing, including NextSunday Resources, is an ecumenical press with resources suitable for churches of all traditions.
