Description
Up-tempo with a memorable tune, "Sing! Sing! It's Christmas Time" is an excellent work for children's voices. Marilyn Fightmaster provides text and tune for this holiday anthem. Echoing the Great Commission, all are urged to 'tell of the Good News: Jesus is born!' The middle section slows slightly and shifts to the parallel minor mode, but the ebullient opening theme returns to finish the work.

Editor's Notes
This children's anthem has two sections of optional divisi. The first occurs at the top of page 3: this section will require more rehearsal time because the children are singing in harmony. One should strive for an equal separation so that both parts remain strong. The other divisi is actually a canonic device used in mm. 62-69. Work to keep the tempo steady throughout this final section.
