From Prelude to Postlude is an opportunity for people to explore their understanding of worship and to allow new information, perspectives, or maybe even inspiration, to permeate their worship experience.
Discuss worship over a series of nineteen sessions that challenge members to think about the ways they participate in active worship. Although specific information is provided, it will become useful only if the participants relate it to their own experience. Suggested questions for class discussion are prefixed by a magnifying glass icon. Notes for leaders are prefixed by a pencil icon. This material is positioned with its relevant text rather than at the end of each essay to encourage discussion throughout the session. Sessions are part of 4 major headings: Words of Worship, History of Worship, Order of Worship, and Expectations for Worship.
