Learning to See: A Lenten Devotional in Pictures and Words began on a trip to Israel and Jordan in 1998. As a part of our group, I "saw" my way around this part of the Middle East. My resulting journal of thoughts and feelings, picutres taken by my friend and colleague, Patti English, and my Christian beliefs have resulted in the written journey of learning to "see."

Jeanne M. Mullins is minister with Adults and Missions at Fredericksburg Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is a former public school teacher, and she continues this love of teaching and learning with adults in her present position. She is pursuing an M. Div. degree at Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond. This is her first book.
