Carl Hart, a native of Collierville, Tennessee, has served as a pastor, chaplain, interim pastor, and administrator for the past forty years. For sixteen years he was on the staff of the Division of Chaplaincy of the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, serving as director for nine years. He is presently Director of the Chaplaincy Department for Allied Systems, Ltd., based in Atlanta, Georgia. During the past 25 years, he and his wife Janie have served during the interim times for 27 churches. He holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Union University.
