For some youth and adults, work is the antithesis of fun. This unit shows how work can be something other than drudgery. Work can be mentally, physically, and spiritually fulfilling.
Session One looks at ways work is part of the bigger picture of our life in Christ. By studying Jesus and Paul's advice about our approach to work, youth will discover that their tasks can be more than a job. Their work can become an adventure in faith.
Session Two explores Paul's letter to the Corinthians where he reminds them of their various gifts. The purpose of these gifts are to use them for everyones good. Youth, who constantly question their identity and purpose, need to hear the message of the mission connected to their talents.
Sessio Three explores the idea that your youth may do a variety of jobs in their lifetimes. As you study Ephesians and work with the idea of hearing God's call, youth will see that following Christ will affect both how they see their work and the jobs they choose to do.
