Brief Description
"Gospel Families and Ours" is a three session Bible study for adults, including learner's materials, teaching guides, and handouts.

"Gospel Families and Ours" is a unit that looks at three places in the Gospels where family dynamics were an important part of the story. Our discipleship calls us to struggle with what it means to be a follower of Christ and be a family. Keep in mind the ways in which the families in the Gospels faced some of the same things modern families face.

Session One explores the challenges to families in our culture, such as the priorities families have in life.

Session Two looks at the relationships and dynamics of a family. In an era when we hear a great deal about family values, it is important that we examine family relationships in the Bible instead of only listening to what others, say about family relationships.

Session Three examines the relationship between Mary and Martha and what we can learn from them in our own family relationships.
