A recently translated 4,000-year-old Mesopotamian tablet details instructions for building a round boat called a coracle, intended to survive a tremendous flood and house animals “two by two.” As the tablet predates estimates of the writing of Genesis, many are referring to the described coracle as a “prototype” ark.
